The 2024 Mazda CX-5 2.0L Comfort is the entry point of the 2024 China-market range, launched in September 2023. It shares its body, 155 PS SKYACTIV-G 2.0 engine, 6-speed automatic and front-wheel drive with every other 2.0-litre trim, and uses 7.05 L/100 km on the WLTC cycle. Standard equipment includes six airbags, stability and traction control, LED headlights, rain-sensing wipers, a reversing camera with rear sensors, a 10.25-inch screen with Apple CarPlay and CarLife, and dual-zone automatic climate control. A power sunroof is optional. It suits buyers who want a 2024 build at the lowest cost per unit.
Comfort in the 2024 model year matches its 2025 counterpart closely, so the choice between them usually comes down to availability and the model-year requirements of your market. Some buyers prefer 2024 stock for its earlier availability; others need the newest model year for registration or resale value.
For fleet buyers, the 2.0-litre engine runs on RON 92 petrol and uses a conventional 6-speed automatic rather than a CVT or dual-clutch gearbox — a combination that independent workshops in most markets already know how to service.
