The China-market Mazda CX-5 is built by Changan Mazda. The 2024 and 2025 model years share the second-generation body (4,575 mm long, 2,700 mm wheelbase) and a naturally aspirated SKYACTIV-G petrol engine with a 6-speed automatic. The 2025 range is 2.0-litre only; the 2024 range adds a 2.5-litre front-wheel-drive Premium and an all-wheel-drive Prestige.
The all-new third-generation CX-5 arrives as the 2026 model. It is longer (4,690 mm) and wider (1,860 mm) on a longer wheelbase, according to Mazda's published data, and uses a single 2.5-litre petrol engine.
