2026 Mazda CX-5 All-New (3rd Generation)

The 2026 Mazda CX-5 is the all-new third generation of Mazda's best-selling SUV, unveiled in Europe in July 2025 with arrivals in other markets during 2026. It grows to 4,690 mm long and 1,860 mm wide on a longer wheelbase, and Mazda says the new model improves interior space, ride comfort and quietness. Power comes from a single 2.5-litre e-SKYACTIV G petrol engine with a 6-speed automatic, offered with Mazda M Hybrid mild-hybrid assistance in markets where fitted. The third-generation CX-5 keeps the formula that made its predecessors sell in more than 100 countries — Kodo design, a naturally aspirated petrol engine and a conventional automatic — and adds the space that buyers asked for. Mazda's development concept for this model is “New Generation Emotional Daily Comfort”, with work focused on interior space, ride comfort, quietness, a new human–machine interface, more connected apps and evolved driver-assistance systems.
